« I chose the title « Universal Citizen » for the album and the title track to describe the importance of reaching beyond our nationality, religion or community. Open-mindedness is the key for living in our contemporary world. We are all different, with many different habits and behaviors, knowledge, and opinions, but we are all striving towards the same goal: life and happiness.

Around this universal objective there are no geographic borders separating people, as in our essence, we are all wanting the same thing. I wrote the music of this album with this sentiment at the forefront of my mind and I am thrilled to release it to  you as an expression to unify people through music.»
